The BFAs low-down

Yesterday saw the arrival of this year's British Fashion Awards, the only place to be and to be seen this side of, well, anywhere.

With many famous faces spotted on the carpet in all their finery, it looked like everyone involved had a calm, enjoyable night with smiles to be seen all around.

The show stoppers of the night were, for me, Alexa Chung who dazzled in her winter whites, Clémence Poésy who was elegant in Erdem, and Christopher Bailey who not only looked dapper in Burberry (of course), but also took home two awards on the night.

Fashion Week hits Somerset House

Another year has come around, another summer at its end (and all too quickly, if you ask me). To soothe the anxiety of the impending winter, however, we have five days and 58 high impact shows to look forward to- all starting tomorrow.
